I've heard of thousands of anti-war campaigns across the world ; I have participated in many
workshops on how to achieve political and civil rights without resorting to violence in different
contexts. I have read the stories of many war victims along with peace activists from Kosovo to
Palestine, from Iran to Iraq and etc, but I just ran into this photo last night and I have to confess I
found it way more powerful than all the above mentioned : The photo shows a little Iraqi boy in an
orphanage who drew his mother, so that he can again sleep in her arms. Sometimes imagination can
become our only means of survival...
